Personal Statement

Hello coaches and schools my name is Dashaun Brown and I graduate in the class of 2017 I have a lot of goals and thing that influenced me to be the person who I am today. I'm a person who is about care about my life being to go far in school and play the sport that I love which is football I'm a good listener I'm outspoken I don't like to joke around because I'm serious about what I do I want to be better than people in my family that didn't go to college by making them proud being to let them see me go to college and be about my busy staying and school and going far in life. When I was 9 years old I was introduced to the game of football I didn't really know much about the game but being taught by cousin it made me want to try out for a team one day what made me really play football because to me the game is to basically have fun and to get stress out being to put in the hard work and get far by playing that sport . I played for a team in my hometown Newark nj called the West Ward Vikings and Hawks. I played there for many years we wasn't really a good team but as years went by we grew strong as a team being to win more games and going to the playoffs. I never played and or really had a chance to win a championship because we always had a young team I was one of the best players on my team. I started playing high school football for East Orange Campus in 2012 as a freshman I play A little bit of Jv playing running back later I was transfer to Malcolm X Shabazz after 2 years playing varsity football. We had a good record I wasn't really the best but I put the work in to get my team we needed to be my senior year I won my first ever playoff game and went to championship but lost it was a close game but a good experience being to play in a championship game cause many people doesn't really get a chance to get that far. We finish the season my senior year 8-3.

Playing football was a good thing for me because without football I wouldn't be nothing in life football inspired me to be a better person being to make my family and friends proud making me stay out of Trouble and it keep me very focus about taking this sport to a higher level. My goals and school is just graduated leave all the negative behavior alone and get what is done and that being to do work and go to class.Cause I believe I can be a good person in the future playing football if I continue to do what I have to do in school and playing football cause I'm a hardworking person I grew up with a family who didn't really take life serious and that something I want to do and going to school and being to play ball is the best for me and my family. Me coming to your school I'll make sure I make things happen feel free to watch my highlight you call me or text me at 8622371260 or email me at [email protected]
