Jacob Mozingo '21 Recruiting Profile

Being a part of a football team feels like second nature to me. Growing up in a military family, I understand and value the idea of teamwork, honor and discipline. These qualities I admire and take with me onto the field. I have been fortunate to live in different parts of the country, from Georgia to Alaska, Nevada to Alabama. Having family thousands of miles away is difficult sometimes, but being part of a football family helps.

The moment I began playing football, I quickly realized that this was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I love to teach, so I became a junior coach with the SYFL(Sierra Youth Football League) and watched that team make it to the State Championship.  I would love to become a coach myself one day.
