Throughout my life, sports have been a passion for me. My dad introduced me to sports at a very young age and I have used sports as a motivator to do well in school. I aspire to play college football at a school where I can pursue a bachelors degree in Kinesiology or Criminal Justice. Playing football, wrestling and baseball in high school has taught me to be intentional with my time as well as to be positive leader among my peers. Being a leader means setting a standard of excellence for myself and encouraging my peers to join me in reaching that standard both personally and athletically.
During my freshman year, I earned distinguished awards for character and ability in all 3 sports that I played. In football, was named defensive player of the year. In JV wrestling, I was named Most Valuable Wrestler, finishing my season 49-9. In baseball I received the Cy Young award for excellent pitching.
When I am not playing sports, I enjoy spending time with my family and church youth group. I enjoy camping with my family as well as spending one week per summer at youth camp where I am able to focus on spiritual and personal growth. I like to give back to my community by volunteering my time at local organizations such as Project 150 and Miracle League of Las Vegas.
