CJ Pickrel '23 Recruiting Profile

    My goals and aspirations are to be the best player I can be, attend college, get my degree that allows me to excel in my chosen field, and make my family proud. While attending college I plan on working hard in the classroom, in the weight room, and on the field. I believe people that are good leaders lead by example, no complaints, just get work done. A couple things that set me apart are, I love the weight room, I hate to lose, I have good character, and I have a high football IQ. "Failing to prepare is preparing to fail." The film room is one of my favorite places to be, it's where I learn how to fix my mistakes and where I learn the tendencies of the other team. I currently have a 4.0 GPA, I'm involved with my local youth group, and I'm also on my high school's quiz bowl team. I wrestle during the winter and do track in the spring.
