Jakailin Johnson '21 Recruiting Profile

First and foremost I would like to thank God for placing people in my life that have supported me and also have pushed me to become the best that I can be. My goals for becoming a collegiate athlete started when I was 6 years old playing football on a local youth football team. From the first moment I touched a football it felt as if it was a part of me. I've been fortunate enough to be accepted into Desmet Jesuit High School where I will continue to pursue both academic excellence and also becoming the best football player I can become. My goal is to one day play Division 1 football. I believe that I can be an asset on any football because I demonstrate leadership determination and they work ethic that's shown both on and off the field. And also ran AAU track ( I ran a 51.1 400 meter at 13yrs old) While football is my love it is also important that I receive a quality education my goal is to use football as a catalyst to not only obtain hey higher education but also be an example to others that if you work hard enough and use the gifts that you were blessed with that you can make any dream a reality.
