My first season of tackle football was in second grade. Our team was not very good, but I was determined to be the best and encouraged my teammates to be better. I have been training as a quarterback for 8 years. I train with people who have played at the collegiate level and seeing them working made me want to work to be like them.
As the quarterback, it's my job to lead my team. I go to offseason workouts and encourage others to do the same. No matter what sport, football, basketball or baseball, I always give one hundred percent to make my team and myself better.
To me, schoolwork is just as important as sports. My goal is to maintain a 3.5 or higher throughout high school and was nominated to NJHS because of my grades and work ethic. In college, I want to compete at the highest level I can, while working for a good education at the same time.
