Hayden Franklin '17 Recruiting Profile

Our team having the best start to a season since 1985, with a 4-0 record, and ultimately earning a spot in the playoffs for the first time in six years were the highlights of my high school career.  I was the starting punter and backup kicker the entire season. I feel I grew stronger as a punter as the season progressed, being named Special Teams Player of the Game of the 10th game of the season. Also, I continued being diligent in practicing my kick off and field goal kicking. With a personal best field goal of 55-yards, I believe I am capable of playing both positions at the college level.

I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership as a senior player who the underclassmen looked up to. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically, as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a three-sport athlete, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
