My name is Hunter Baker and I am 17 years old, 6 feet tall, and weigh 205 pounds. As I begin to move closer to the end of my high school years I reflect back on the one thing that has been a constant in my life and that is my love of football. At the age of six I began playing for the local city league and have loved football since the first day I walked on the field. I began playing for the varsity team as a freshmen and have been a starter on offense and defense ever since. I was the leading tackler on the team my sophomore and junior year. I was selected as a captain of the team my junior year. This is the first time a junior has received this honor at my school. I have always encouraged my team with actions and words. I also received honors as a Fab 15 player from the HSSPORTSMS website in Mississippi.
I am striving to play at the collegiate level. I have strong work ethics, leadership skills, and God given abilities that I believe would make me an asset to any team. I want to continue to play the game that I love regardless of what division or level it is. Which ever college I decide to attend I am looking forward to working toward a degree which will make me successful in todays job market.
Once again I believe I would be an asset to any team because of my many years of devotion to the sport, my strong work ethics, leadership skills, and ability.
