Hunter Utley '23 Recruiting Profile

Dear prospective coach,

I am currently a sophomore at Murray High School in Murray, Kentucky. I am 6'2 190 lbs. This is my second year being the starting quarterback for Murray High's varsity football team. Last year I was all Western Kentucky Conference, I also play basketball and baseball.In basketball I was a starting varsity guard and had the 3rd best 3 point percentage in the region, I was on the all a region team as well. In baseball I was the starting shortstop and pitcher for the varsity baseball team. Whatever sport I am playing or whatever I do I love to compete. I had a 4.0 GPA my freshman year, I was a participant in KYA (Kentucky youth Association)for two years,I am now apart of FBLA, and I am an honor roll student. I am an active member in my youth group at my church and I am strong in my faith. What makes me different from other players that you may be interested in is that I don't care one bit about my individual stats. I care about one thing and that is winning. Now that being said if I throw three interceptions in a game I am not going to be okay with that but my main focus is the success that the TEAM has. Another thing that makes me different is that I am very coachable... I am never satisfied with just a win, I want to beat every team we play by 50 points. Now the school I am at that doesn't always happen but I want to become part of a winning program. I hate losing. I am a very likeable guy who can be very funny at times but also can get down to business. I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
