Damon Pezel '20 Recruiting Profile

    Hello, my name is Damon Pezel.  I currently go to school at North White High School.  I am a highly educated young man, currently holding a 3.4 grade point average.  My main sport is football, but I also participate in track and field, throwing the shot put.  

    My passion for football has deep roots in my family.  For as much as I can remember, my whole family loves football, and that's no exception for me.   I started playing football when I was in the fifth grade, absolutely loving it the first time I delivered my first big hit on the defensive line.  Now, I am a sophomore in high school having the time of my life.  The game really pushes me in the weight room, and also in life.  I am always on the field, in practice or not, pushing my self towards the player I aspire to be.  Whether that be extra sprints after practice, or working on using my hand work.   I also come from a 1A school in a very rural part of Indiana.  This makes it hard for my team to keep eatch other up, so I stepped up as a leader.  My leader ship skills are astounding.  I am always trying to rally the troops, even when I am on the sidelines, waiting for the defensive to go back on the field.  

    As much as I love football, I know I can't get a degree in football.  I love academics as much as I do football.  I actively participate in band, gaming club, and jazz band.  I take two honor classes, Geometry and English.  I would take AP classes, but my school does not offer them.  I am always studying for my tests, and I am always working hard to improve my grades.  I can thank this too my parents, both push me to my limits in everything I do in life.
