Vic Monzon '20 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Victor Monzon, but everyone calls me Vic. I am a student athlete at McHenry West High school in McHenry Il, I am 15 years old and am currently 5'10/165lbs. My primary sport is football which I play Receiver/Running back on Offense, Saftey on Defense, and kick/punt return on special teams. This freshman year I started every game of the season I also play basketball. This year I played Guard/Small forward. I love to workout/lift, which I do six days a week. My goal is playing football at the next level. This is something I have wanted to do as long as I could remember. I have worked hard psychically and academically to assure this goal is met. At this point failure is not an option. I do not have my mind set  on any particular school yet as far as college. My options would always be open depending on what opportunities arise. 

    My current goals are to keep getting bigger, faster, and stronger before my sophomore season starts. Proving myself worthy to my teammates and coaches of being a team captain for the next three years in my opinion would be a great honor. I would also like to narrow down my options as far as my career goals to zero in on my major before my junior year. Approaching the ACT/SAT my sophomore year is also a personal goal I would like to achieve. Having these test scores set before my senior year starts would allow me to make a clear decision on my academic/athletic goals for college.
