Hello, My name is Mason DeLong. Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I hope after reading this you will know more about me as a student athlete. Sports have been a passion of mine since the age of 4. Wrestling and football are a huge part of my life. The success I find in sports have made me a well rounded individual. My success in wrestling includes: Varsity starter as a freshman & sophomore, 70 varsity wins (thus far), State Qualifier, Sectional placer, Regional champ, Conference champ,Stagg invite champ, All Area Wrestler x2, &, All Conference x2. My success in football includes: Sophomore starter as a freshman (FB & LB), Varsity starter as a sophomore (LB), and I am hungry for more achievements this year.
My goals and aspirations for college are to continue playing the sport of football. The skill level that is required to play at the college level will help me to be a well rounded individual. The hard work required will help me to obtain a future career path.
I will make a great collegiate athlete in large part to my work ethic. Hard work and determination have helped my to stand out with my fellow team mates. You have to be a leader on the football field and I look for every opportunity to learn and grow. This will translate well as I look for success at the collegiate level.
