My name is Brett Boddy and I am a student athlete at Metea Valley High School in Aurora, IL. As a sophomore, I started every game at left tackle and received all conference honorable mention in the very competitive Upstate 8 Conference. As a junior I played left tackle and nose guard and was awarded first team all conference as well as academic all conference and academic all state.
I consider myself highly motivated both as a student and as an athlete. I push myself and my teammates each practice so we can achieve our potential as a team. I also carry a vigorous academic work load taking several AP and Honors classes while maintaining a 4.25/4.0 grade point average. I have a great desire to play football in college and know that I have the work ethic to do so. My sister is currently playing volleyball at The University of Pittsburgh and has given me an opportunity to see the amount of work it takes to be a great student athlete. This has motivated me to work even harder as a student athlete.
I strongly want to play football at the collegiate level and am looking to find the best fit athletically as well as academically. I am interested in the sciences possibly engineering.
