Hi Coach! My name is Bryce Hellgeth and I am a Quarterback, Kicker, and Punter in the class of 2018. I pride myself on performing on the field as well as in the classroom. As a quarterback, I believe it is important to set the tone for my teammates so they can feed off of my energy and confidence; they selected me team Captain my Sophomore season. This year as a Junior, I earned the starting quarterback job on Varsity and helped lead my team to the second round of the IHSA State Playoffs (6-5 record).
I am very dedicated to training for football and I take pride in my academics. Currently, my GPA is 94.12% (weighted). To improve as a quarterback I train with Jeff Christensen at Throw It Deep QB Training and Tom Nelson at TNT Training for speed and agility. At Saint Viator High School we have a full time strength trainer (Coach Richard McLoughlin) and I am fortunate to workout year round under his guidance.
I am looking for a university with a strong academic reputation where I can find a balance between academics and athletics. It is my dream to play college football and I am willing to put the time in on the field, off the field, and in the classroom to achieve it.
