Aloha, I am Randall Hatori. In my life I want to be able to overcome any obstacle in my vision and pursue my dreams through college and through football, with the ability to come back to my community and give back to what has built me into who I am. When I stepped onto the field at the age of seven I knew that football was the sport for me and I knew from the start that I wanted to go to the collegiate level to become a better athlete and be able to explore life and see what is out there for me in the near future.
I have always been the one to pay attention to little details, and push myself to the limit of no extent. Before every season, I tend to set goals to push myself into achieving them and even more. For example, last year I told myself that I was going to be the BIIF Defensive Player of the year and I strived for that goal every time I stepped on that field. Every tackle I made I was thinking about that one goal. At the end of the year I accomplished it. I set goals in everything I do just to push myself, especially while I train to get bigger, faster, and stronger.
I am a leader not only on the football field but also in my school. I lead by example, I show others that academics is the number one thing any person in life can use to achieve greater things. I maintain a high GPA and study hard. In public, I help coach little kids within pop warner. And on the field I am a leader because I encourage my fellow teammates and I try to stay very coachable and strive to be the greatest athlete on the field. I do what I am supposed to do when I'm supposed to do it as best as it can be done, not just sometimes but EVERY time! This pushes me to achieve my lifetime goal, and I can assure you I will reach it with your help!
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to every single opportunity there is, knowing that any college could be a life changer for me. To be able to get off of this island and go to a college to explore life and play my dream sport would make my parents proud. And that is all I want to see, a smile on their faces because I made it to where I always dreamt of . Also to say that I have proven to not only everyone but most importantly myself that with hard work ,dedication and commitment there are no limits in life.
