Family is everything to me. I love my parents, I love my siblings and my extended family. I grew up in a sports family where my parents and siblings all played sports. Currently I’m attending Kalani high school in Honolulu Hawaii. Growing up I played football, baseball and while in high school I joined track and paddling teams. Through all the sports many coaches have also influenced my life. My parents have raised me to work hard in school. Currently I am getting a 3.3 cumulative GPA next year I will be taking a couple of AP classes. These are some of the people who influenced me throughout my life. Football taught me many life lessons throughout the years. Through playing football I learned how to be a leader, gain great work ethic and become a team player. What sets me apart from others is that coaches look to me to make plays, lead the team, and support the team through adversity. This helps me become team oriented because it’s the team’s success that matters. Although one of my goals is to play at the next level I also want to pursue my profession of choice. My academic goals for school is to achieve a college degree in physical therapy and some day have my own practice to help give back to society. To become one I must achieve a Bachelors of Science degree in kinesiology. This is my career goal for my schoolings. Growing up I faced many hard decisions between going out and working out, parental expectations of not letting them down, and doubts of my ability to become the best. Through these challenges I’ve learned how to be committed and work through hard times and accept expectations and block out self-doubt and learning to become the best I can become in life.
