I hold myself to a high standard in academics, athletics, and character. I am not afraid to work hard, and I appreciate coaching and feedback. Speed and versatility are strengths I'm grateful to have been given and that I work hard to keep. Running the ball, tackling, and playing quarterback are all comfortable for me. Being the starting kicker and punter for V as a freshmen was unexpected and required that I learn and practice a new skill, but it went pretty well with 25/30 extra points and 1/1 field goals. Whatever it takes to get my cleats on the field is fine with me. Fully aware that I have to wait my turn and earn my position, but I was still happy to be starting as a freshmen. And kicking just might be something I want to pursue. I love football, understand football, and want to play football in college while I earn a degree that will serve me well and lead to a career. I expect respect and honor of myself and those around me. Leading in this way has evidently always come easily for me, and I'm good with the higher level of accountability is requires.
