Colton Murphy '21 Recruiting Profile

Growing up football has been a huge influence on my life from Saturday afternoon Pop Warner games were my dad would record the college football game so we could rush home after the game and watch it. To Sundays spending the day with my grandfather and uncle watching our Miami dolphins take the field and cross our fingers that we would win. Football has brought the best out of me. I have come to find out through playing the sport football, that the wins, loses, or even the game it self does not define me. Its my attitude when I come back that Monday for practice and what I do to make sure we as a team and me as player don't make the same mistakes. I want to make the best of my high school experience not just on the field but in the class room. High school is such a small period of time that has such a big impact on your life as a whole, and I recognize that I cant mess it up. Unique characteristics I have is keeping a calm and cool head during the game. I wont freak out if throw a touchdown or put my head down when I throw a interception, because I know my team is watching me and will feed off of my behavior.
