I have been playing football since the sixth grade and I would have played prior but we lived in a small town in Connecticut that didn't have a successful football team, so when me and my family moved to a different town in CT (Madison) I was happy to be able to join a good football team. I didn't really start loving the sport until my 8th grade year after a very successful season with our team winning our shoreline conference championship.
What I hope to personally achieve in college is being the best student athlete I can be. What I mean by this is getting good grades, making the honor roll, setting new personal bests, being a good friend, teammate and person but ultimately helping out the team as much as possible. Some aspirations of mine include starting on the defensive line and lead our team in sacks and or tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
Academically I have always enjoyed school but have really enjoyed math and science and specifically biology and hope to be a doctor one day and particularly a surgeon specifically a cardiovascular surgeon/doctor. I have good grades mostly A's and B's and hope to continue this at the next level wherever that may be.
I think I would be good for your team because I am a strong athlete and good in the classroom but also I'm a nice and easy person to talk to if another teammate/student has an issue I'm always happy to help.
