Football is more than just a sport to me. It's part of my life. Every day I go out to work,  along with the challenges of a heavy AP school schedule and my commitment to academic success. Football is what I do, especially when I don't have to. It's the mental preparation and physical training that I push myself to undertake. It's pertinacity and the will to work. It's the task to succeed and that quest to evolve that makes me love football. I've played through thick and thin, putting my head down and pushing through whatever obstacle is in my way. It's not easy, and that's why I keep doing it. At times I just want to go home, but I love the thrill of overcoming. It isn't fun in itself, but it keeps you going every day. It's a sort of strange phenomenon between pain and joy that only football can give a person. Football is more than just a sport. It's part of life.
