I have been an athlete all my life. From playing baseball for as long as I can remember, to trying basketball, to eventually playing football for the first time as a freshmen, athletics have been a huge part of my life. I first got into football while I was at St. John Bosco High School. I first saw there weight room and wanted to go in immediately because it intrigued me. I had lifted some weights before but nothing serious to put any muscle size on me. However, the weight room at the time was for football players as they were doing their offseason training. I decided to join football so I can lift weights and I thought it would be fun. However, playing for the best high school team in the nation at the time without having any prior football experience seemed like an insurmountable task. Fortunately, I did start by my 4th game of freshmen season. In college, I plan to play football at least another four years, and in doing so, major in the sports medicine field. As an athlete who is hardly known by fellow competitors and college scouts, I have nothing to lose and will fight for what I want to earn and accomplish.
