Personal Statement

I am a 6'0 WR/DB at Edison high school in Fresno, CA. However, being an athlete,  I am open to playing any position I'm needed at on the field. I have a 3.78 cumulative GPA, while taking AP and honors courses.  I have been in a gifted and talent youth (GATE) program since 5th grade and therefore take more challenging classes in order to receive a well rounded education and become adequately prepared for college. Playing football at the college level is a goal I expect to achieve. Failure is not an option. My current goals, as I am back in my off season routine, are to continue to add mass and work on catching balls in traffic. My intangibles include my relentless work ethic, my leadership and my knowledge of the sport in each aspect.  Whether it's in the classroom or on the field, I pride myself in my drive for a competitive environment.  I would like to go to a school with a great atmosphere where I can find opportunity for classroom success and success on the field.  I take all opportunities and love to show up on the big stage. I am open to different types of schools, although I would prefer one with stability on the coaching staff and where I can receive a high level of education.  An environment in which I could learn from others and make an impact as soon as possible would be great. I will absolutely look through all opportunities given.
