My football career start last year when I was only a freshman. I was a regular boy that thought football would be the last thing on earth that I would ever do. One day my coach said that I should tryout for the JV team. I talked to my parents about it and they said that it would be a great idea to join. My first day of practice was hell, came home like I was going to die that night. I was out of shape and my diet was full of junk food. Then we did some drills for lineman. Coach said that I was one of the strongest person on the team. I was surprised. My games during my freshman year were alright I would say. I got to admit that I was pretty nervous playing because during that time I was very small. Thank god I had a growth spurt any ways I survived my first year of football.
Next season was about to start and that I was still going to be in JV. During summer practice we ran some plays and the Varsity coach said that If I would be interested in joining varsity. At first I asked myself if I was ready and I said yes why not. Til this day I never knew that I would be able to be a football player and this close in order to make it for the rest of my life.
I will fail but, failing isn't going to make me quit. My coach always says that failing will always make you be better.
