Segun Olubi '17 Recruiting Profile

I am 6'1" with long arms, a frame to fill, quick feet and a strong passion for the game. I have been passionate about foot ball since I was 6 years old and have played football for 6 seasons, 2 in Pop Warner( Junior Pee Wee and Pee Wee) and went on to play football as well as track and field in high school. I also have played basketball which I started in the 8th grade and had to give it up in the 11th grade to focus on my passion which is football. I am academically strong and able to play more than one skilled position. I currently start at Corona Centennial high school as outside line backer,  sometimes defensive end and specifically pass rusher for third and fourth down.  I am able to play as corner and safety especially because I am quick and I have long arms. I have also played as a running back / linebacker hybrid.  My desire is to play as Linebacker or Strong Safety in College, however I am  versatile and dynamic and can play multiple positions both on defense and offense. I am a well rounded athlete, with good character and morals, I am a team player while capable of taking the initiative as the need arises. I am super athletic,  aggressive tackler,  strong, quick , consistent with endurance. I believe I will be an asset to your football program. Thank you.
