I have been a competitor since kindergarten, playing on a first and second grade basketball team. Competing is something I love to do. The feeling of victory and accomplishment shared with a team outweighs any other reward I have known and I do whatever it takes to assist my team in becoming victorious. This feeling has led me to compete in basketball, swimming, martial arts, football, board games and academics.
I loved basketball when I was younger and excelled at it (winning the Freshman MVP award) but feel I have come into my niche as a football player. Recently our High School Varsity Football Team went 12-0 and won the section championship. I played and started on both offense and defense in every game. My class (2017) is currently 32-0 as a football team. Being a part of something so much bigger than myself is something I want to continue and contribute to, in college.
My strong desire to achieve and help others has led me to leadership positions on my basketball team, as a team captain on all my football teams, and as an instructor in Okinawan Karate (in which I am a black belt). My life is centered on competition and academics. This is why playing football in college has been my goal ever since I stepped onto the field. I am looking for a university that will provide me with an excellent education matched with a field for competition. I will bring unparalleled dedication to your school and your team.
