I’ve loved football for as long as I can remember. I would watch football games on TV ever since I was little and begged my parents to let me play. In Sixth Grade, they finally gave me my chance after I earned my first-degree black belt and sparred against my instructors. It gave them confidence that I would succeed as a football player.
I’ve learned that there are two things I can control in life: my effort and my attitude. I do everything I can to ensure that no one will outwork me. All of my coaches consistently tell me that I am very coachable and learn quickly. I always strive to be better and am willing to put in the work. I find ways to improve by lifting weights, going to football camps and training with a private coach.
I put in as much work in the classroom as I do on the field. I am a 4.0 student, served as Secretary of the National Junior Honor Society, and know the importance of education and leadership. Not only am I a quick learner, but I also understand the importance of being thorough in my work. I lead by example in the classroom and on the field.
I love the game of football and know how much it would mean to play in college. I want to attend a college that will fit my educational and athletic goals that allow me to pursue my dream of playing football in college while getting a great education. I would be honored to consider all options available to me.
