Gabe Friend '23 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with football when I started playing at the age of six. Football has taught me the traits of leadership and perseverance through adversity. I am a very natural leader and will stand with and lead my team at all times. I compete in every thing I do in a high-intensity mentality. My competitiveness continues off the field as I push to be the best student possible. I am very focused on my academic success and progress and would like to continue playing football as I earn a degree.

I am currently a Sophomore QB at Basha High school(6A) in Chandler, Arizona.  I am 6'1, 175 lbs and have good arm talent as well as being athletic enough to extend plays and run. I stand tall in the pocket and am able to dissect the defense and make intelligent decisions. After 10 years of playing football I understand the game very well and I am always aware of my situation. I am looking forward to improving and show casing my talent through training and camps around the country.
