Megan McCarthy '21 Recruiting Profile

In college, I hope to discover a field of study that I am passionate about.  Although I am undecided about my major, I plan on pursuing a degree in a field of study as my interests develop.  My college experience would be enhanced if I were part of a squad that allowed me to gain character-building experience while contributing positively to the success of my team.  My love of field hockey and participating in a team sport at the college level is a dream of mine that I plan on pursuing at the college I find to be a perfect fit for me and their field hockey program.  I would be categorized by my current and past coaches and teammates as a passionate player, a hard worker, and a team player.  I lead by example among my peers both on and off the field.  My strong faith, academic performance, and high moral standards make me a gifted student, conscientious citizen, and a coachable athlete.  I maintain an all A and an occasional B average in an accelerated academic program.  I would be an asset to any college program because of my motivation, dedication, organizational habits, and work ethic.
