I have been playing field hockey since I was 11 years old. I am a hardworking and motivated player on and off the field. Many times my teammates have remarked about my enthusiasm for the game and as a result I have been named team captain in seventh, ninth, tenth, and eleventh grade for my school teams. Currently I play either forward or midfield. In addition to my school career, I also play for the FSC Falcons field hockey team, led by Michelle Finnegan. During my three years with FSC, I participated in the 2014 National Festival in California and along with the NFHCA Winter Escape in Naples, Florida 2016. I am always looking for ways to improve my field skills and also my knowledge. As a junior at Central Bucks East High School I hold a cumulative GPA of 3.7. Working hard in school is something I enjoy. I also enjoy participating in National Honor Society, Mini-THON, spring track, Patriot Players Theatre and Key Club (student service club), Fellow Christian Athletes club, and Athletes Helping Athletes club. And this year I am helping out with a school fundraiser caller Mr. East. Outside of school I volunteer at my church, where I teach Sunday school and work with young children in our Vacation Bible School. I also volunteer as a student field hockey coach for our community athletic association. During the summers I work at Windmill Day camp as a junior counselor. I also work at Ooka, a Japanese restaurant in Doylestown as a hostess. I enjoy working hard on the field and also in my studies.I have a strong passion for field hockey and I hope to achieve my goal of playing in college. I take my school work seriously and love playing field hockey, and I envision throughout college and as a professional that this sport will be a big part of life.
