Erin Maguire '11 Recruiting Profile

As a devoted athlete, I have had the desire to play field hockey in college since the ninth grade. My excitement for the game drives me to enthusiastically train throughout the year. I strive to improve my skills by continually staying physically and mentally fit. I started playing field hockey in the eighth grade and since then have played on the varsity team and club/clinic team since my freshman year of high school. I have been a team captain for the past two seasons. I consider myself a charismatic player who is confidently vocal on the field with positive energy. Being a respectable role model and leader towards my fellow teammates and coaches is very important to me. I am interested in a small-medium size school, of any division, located on the east coast. In addition to field hockey, I am also passionate about music and would love to continue my education with concentrations in music and cultural studies. I'd love to be a part of a program with teammates who possess the same drive and enthusiasm that I have for the game.
