Video of Varsity Season Highlights 2017Varsity Season Hi...

Personal Statement

Ever since I first picked up a hockey stick when I was eight years old, my love for the sport has only grown.  Unfortunately, Kansas City and the surrounding areas offer limited opportunities to become more involved in the game.  Consequently, I have learned to take advantage of opportunities by participating in camps and clinics locally and on the East Coast, as well as by joining other club teams for tournaments.  Through balancing my varsity hockey schedule with my academic obligations and aspirations, as well as through my ten years of being a committed equestrian with an unremitting responsibility to care for my horse, I have learned time management and demonstrated my dedication.  I am an avid, engaged learner and a hard worker.  I love being challenged, whether it be intellectually or physically, and I always put forth my best effort on the field and in the classroom.  Field hockey has become an incredibly important part of my life.  I hope to play at the collegiate level so that I can continue to improve as a player, grow as a leader, and contribute to the strength of a vibrant athletic community.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
