Personal Statement

My love of hockey started at age 4 when I played ice hockey with the boys on Northeast Elite in Walpole, MA and Norwood ,MA Youth Hockey Teams. I then also played for Walpole Rebels/Express Hockey. I played year round for two teams each year. In 5th grade I started playing field hockey for Norwood. I remember scoring the first goal of the season on a team of 5th-8th graders. In 6th grade I started playing for Extreme Field Hockey Club year round. In 7th grade I made the U16 Elite team and in 8th grade I made the U19 Elite Team. I also played for Norwood High School as an 8th grader on a waiver.

I am a starting Varsity player for Norwood High School as a Sophomore and Freshman..

Growing up I played and excelled in many sports including swim team, tennis, track, soccer, basketball, skiing, fencing, ice hockey, field hockey, lacrosse, baseball, gymnastics and golf. I love field hockey the most and have concentrated my time and energy playing. I would like to play field hockey at the collegiate level What motivates me is contributing as a team player. I excel in school academics taking all honor level classes. I contribute and volunteer in my community and participate in high school activities. I worked this summer as a Lifeguard for Norwood Recreation.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
