Hi! My name is Anna Snyder. I am a 9th grader at Massabesic High School, graduating in 2021. I am a three sport athlete with field hockey being my primary and most enjoyed. I have played field hockey for six years+, staring in the third grade. I am currently a varsity starter as a midfielder. I strive to be the best athlete I can be and to have the best grades possible. I'm always reaching above and beyond with my goals. I participate in small training sessions and strength and conditioning classes as well as playing year round at my field hockey club, Maine Styx. I want to be in the best shape for my sport and fine tune my stick skills. I see myself as a very versatile player, having the skill to be able to play in whatever position I am asked. Competitively I have played midfield and defense, but due to my strong offensive shooting skills, my coach wants me to play link next season and I am looking forward to trying this position out. I would love to learn to excel in all positions.
Field hockey has taught me time management and thus good study habits. I am an honor roll student. I love being involved on and off the field. I am a part of the student council, culture club, youth ministry, and girl scouts. I also love working with kids and sharing my passion of field hockey. I volunteer at our youth league and assist the coach in practices and games.
My twin, Emma, and I have fun playing and working on our skills in the yard. We both have a goal of playing field hockey in college.
