Hi my name is McKenna Blean, I live in Gilroy and have been playing field hockey since 2013. I attend the college preparatory high school Notre Dame High School in Salinas and in the class of 2017. I plan to play field hockey at the collegiate level and I have been practicing each and every day to reach that level. I am an extremely determined person, sometimes too much. I don't give up! I think obstacles only make me stronger because it makes me learn something new and just try harder. If there is something I don't know how to do just teach me and I will do my best to achieve it. I run and run and run, and then run some more. I take coaches input and do my best to become the best player I can be. If you are considering choosing me to be a choice at your school please know I won't stop trying to improve. If you're not considering me to be a choice for your school you should give me the feedback about why I'm not a good fit for your school.

This year, 2015, I have been volunteering at the Storm House in Salinas by helping pick up and clean the Storm House. If I am not helping out around the Storm House I teach/coach the women's soccer team at the Storm House.
