August 2017Personal Statement
I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember. The many coaches that I have had has helped shape me into the player I am today. I am able to play any position, but my favorites, and where I excel are at second, shortstop, pitcher and catcher. My versatility as a player is an asset to any team I play with. I always give 100% of effort in whatever I do, whether that be on the field, the gym, or during classes. I am determined to do my best.
Over the years I have played at the city league level, traveled with the Junior Blackhawks and last summer was invited to play with our local high school Freshman and Junior Legion teams. During the fall and winter I am working hard at as many local baseball camps as time permits, Last year I was awarded the a Coach's Choice award at the high school baseball camp.
When I am not playing, practicing or doing school work I am helping the younger teams. Being able to help teach with the vision of a player has helped me to have a better perspective as a coach to the newer players. I want to be able to take my baseball career to the next level and play for a college team. I feel that I would be a great asset to any team and will always find a way to help.
