Hello, my name is Nick Radtke and I attend Brookfield East High School, in Brookfield Wisconsin. Playing baseball at an early age was something I found very enjoyable and knew right away I would want to continue playing ball into my college years. Competing in games quickly became something I truly looked forward to. Recruiting me to your baseball program would not only benefit your team but your University.
I currently have a 3.65 cumulative GPA. I have maintained this GPA throughout my freshman and Sophomore year. During my junior year I plan on taking AP classes which I have already signed up for.
I would describe myself as a hard working, focused and determined young man. I work hard on and off the field. Off the field, I currently am involved in a weight training program three to four days a week. I also train several days a week with physical drills for pitching and hitting that have been given to me by my hitting and pitching instructors. In addition to the physical drills, I watch a lot of online drills and exercises to better myself as a baseball player.
I currently play for a club team and not my high school. Unfortunately Brookfield East High School plays summer baseball, which would conflict with the travel baseball circuit. I have chosen to play travel baseball as I can play 60 - 70 games against great competition all around the midwest versus the 25 games against mediocre competition in local high schools.
I believe I would be a great addition to your program and University and look forward to be given a chance to showcase my skills to you.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Nick Radtke
