Jeffrey Sutherland '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jeff Sutherland begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting. I am 5'10 175 pounds and I am from Richmond, Vermont and a graduate of the class of 2011. I have a deep passion for baseball and have been playing since I was three years old. I have speed and quickness on the base paths. I hit the ball hard and can fit well at any spot in a lineup. I have great versatility defensively and will play wherever needed, although 3rd base has been primary position, I also have a lot of experience at both middle infield spots. This past year I won the batting title in Vermont as a junior with a .636 batting average. I was also named a first team all state infielder. It is my dream to play college baseball at a school on the East Coast or midwest. The size or division of the school does not matter to me as much as how good of a fit the school is for me. I would like to attend a school located in, or close to, a city, that has a strong, challenging business program and a first rate baseball program that will give me a fulfilling experience, while helping me grow as a player and person.
