From an early age, my parents have instilled in me the importance of family and treating others the way I want to be treated.  This value, along with my work ethic in the classroom and on the field, has allowed me to enjoy the success that comes with hard work, while establishing strong friendships along the way.

I've played accelerated baseball since the age of 8 and balanced this with basketball, football, and golf to ensure a well rounded competitive experience.  Specifically with baseball, I've played on a variety of showcase teams throughout the country and have garnered experience to allow me to perform under a myriad of circumstances against top competition.  This has also translated to success in high school as I've started every Varsity game since my freshman year, leading my team each year in batting average, extra base hits, on base percentage, stolen bases, etc.  As a pitcher, I've set school records for strikeouts in a game and for a season, and at the end of my Junior year have 34 wins.

My college goals and aspirations relating to baseball are to perform in a manner that contributes to my team's success.  This includes pushing myself to improve my play by setting specific, measurable goals related to batting/fielding/pitching.  This all drives toward my ultimate goal of winning championships.
