My name is Kollier Knight and I am a senior at Wylie High School. When I graduate High School I am looking forward in pursing my dreams in being a college baseball player. I am a center fielder and love every bit of what I do. Along with playing baseball I am also going to be studying Criminal Justice. No matter what happens athletic wise... even though I am going to strive to go all the way, I am going to make sure I have a degree so no matter what the future holds I will still be successful in life. So that me and my future family will always be taken care of. I believe that I am a good candidate because of my athletic ability and my constant drive to strive to be better in every aspect of the game. I am a leader on and off the field. I try to motivate not only myself but my teammates to strive to be the best that they can. There is never a time that I step on the field that I am not giving 100% for myself, my team and my coaches. I will always make sure to give my all no matter the circumstance. I think what would make me different from other recruits is that my character on and off the field doesn't change. I am kind, caring and very personable with an outgoing personality and constant drive to uplift people.... but don't let that fool you. When it comes to me being competitive, my love for the game goes beyond just a ball and mitt it means so much more to me. Ever since I started at 3 years old baseball has been my life and I treat it as just that. I am a very honest and dedicated student who also takes my academics very seriously. I came to the realization in middle school that you can be the most outstanding player that anyone has laid their eyes on but without the grades you wont make it. That is what motivates me in the classroom.
