Thomas Gilbert '21 Recruiting Profile

I have played baseball from the age of 4, dreaming of playing for as long as I can remember and dreaming to play at every level of the game. I will be starting my freshmen year of high school in Fall of 2017 and have maintained mostly A’s, with a few B’s in my junior high classes and advanced, high school credit, courses taken during junior high. I understand the value of developing myself mentally and physically and plan to maintain a high GPA throughout high school to make myself eligible for both academic and athletic scholarships.

On and off the diamond, I am a leader and try to be an example to those around me. I am currently a Life Scout in Boy Scouts of America and am often leading groups of fellow scouts on our adventures and in community service projects. I have great team spirit and am always the loudest in the dugout cheering for my fellow teammates. I work hard off the fields, so I can be the best on the field, and I play the game at 110% every time I am out there. I want to have to push myself on the field and in the classroom, to succeed in both categories.
