I go to a small private Christian school where I have been given the opportunity to develop my leadership abilities and my values as a Christian and I hope to continue to build on those throughout college. Not only am I a well-rounded athlete but I am also a well rounded person, being in the musicals, choir, playing classical guitar, and making good grades in school. I enjoy leading people and I would like to play in a program that helps me develop as a leader, as a man and puts me in a position to be successful. I enjoy being a part of a team that gels together well and becomes like a second family. I want to find a program that not only takes interest in me as a player, but as a person as well.
When I was 13 years old, I wrote a life code. This is what I wrote.
MY LIFE CODE
Maddox Henderson
December 26, 2014
Through the power of The Holy Spirit
I will give my all for the glory of God
I will not be ashamed of representing the Lord in everything that I do.
I will look to God for strength
and I will be strong in Him.
I will lay myself down before Him
so that He may act through me.
I will seek and find God in all circumstances.
I will listen to God and receive His Word.
I will live my life to the fullest
through the Holy Spirit.
I will love, honor, encourage, and respect
the people God has given to me.
I will forgive those who trespass against me and ask for forgiveness for my trespasses.
If I brag it will be that I know God
and He knows me.
I will follow Christ alone
unashamed & undefeated…
and worship Him always.
