When I was a kid I was allowed to try many different sports, in hopes of finding my passion. Baseball is the one that stuck! Playing Select Baseball for the last 5 years has taught me how to not only be a team player, but also to trust myself and gain confidence on the field. Starting QB for the last 3 years on my football team has taught me how to, not only lead, but to remain focused and in-check when things may be going downhill. I cannot wait to see what my High School years have in store for me.
This past summer the 14U Select Team I am on played in several 16U tournaments. We weren't sure how it would turn out, but went in with confidence. We started out winning at least one game per tournament and by the end of the summer, went 3-1 at the Baylor Diamond King showcase, which allowed us to go to bracket play. We were stoked! I pitched two one hitters this summer against 16-17 year olds and struck out 7 guys as well during one of those games. I am excited to continue through the Fall and to keep at it!
I believe in working hard to reach the goals that I set for myself. Playing college ball is my focus and I understand in order to achieve that goal I not only need to be a leader on and off the field, but also need to maintain good grades. I am enrolled in Honors Classes for my Freshman year and plan on taking them throughout High School, like I did in Junior High. I've also had an excellent school attendance record...only missing three days of school ever. I am not only confident in who I am and the decisions I make, but also dedicated to team and school.
There is a link to my YouTube account that has some video highlights from my past seasons. Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you in the future!
