It has been my goal to play college baseball since I started playing at age 4. I have played every position. On my select team I play mostly outfield and pitch, but my favorite position other than pitching is 3rd base. I consider myself a power hitter. The last time I had my swing tested my bat speed average was 61mph with hand speed average of 25mph. That was the month after I turned 13. In addition to baseball, I play football, basketball and run track. I am currently one of the tallest two or three kids in my grade in addition to being the third or fourth fasted. This was my first year to play select baseball in both the Spring and Fall. I pitched in several games with great success relying mainly on my fastball and curveball. In league ball I throw my changeup more often but my select coach does not call that pitch. I work hard in school to stay on the A/B Honor Roll.
