I live for baseball. I fell in love with the game when I was about three years old. playing tee-ball. The excitement of hitting or fielding a ground ball is what made me fall in love. I have learned to have good character, pride, and confidence when playing the game. Baseball helps me learn to accept failure as well, knowing baseball is considered a game of failure. I shoot to get A's in high school academically. I want to go to attend college and shoot for the same academic goals. Grades mean a lot to me and my family. Overcoming people saying negative things to me about myself motivated me to get to the point I am at today. People told me that I wasn't good enough to play baseball at the collegiate level. People have told me I was too big. Those people motivate me. I am doing everything in my power to prove those people wrong. They don't want me to succeed. I am a very good teammate and leader.
