Jack Giovenco '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jack Giovenco and I am currently a 14 year old freshman at Parkland High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  I have worked hard throughout my life to achieve my dream of playing baseball at the collegiate level.  I understand the amount of dedication to both academics and athletics it takes to compete collegiately as I currently have a 4.0 GPA in honors classes and am a member of the FTB tournament baseball program, competing on their 2017 team.

I pride myself on setting realistic goals that I work extremely hard to obtain and achieving those goals through hard work and determination.  My academic goals for college is to graduate with an engineering degree while playing a high level of competitive baseball.  My athletic goals are to bring the qualities I’ve played with since I first stepped on a baseball field to my collegiate team and to develop into a player that may one day have the opportunity to play professionally.  I’ll be the first to practice, the last to leave and will always hustle and strive to be the best player and teammate that I can be.  I’ve had the opportunity to find strength and determination in overcoming challenges that most student athletes don’t face and those opportunities have molded me into the well rounded student athlete that I am today.
