Hello! My name is Tyler Smith. I am 6'2" and 170lbs. I am a two-sport student athlete for Noble High School. I play basketball, but baseball is my passion! I decided to give up football in the 5th grade to play year round for a travel baseball team. My primary positions are RHP and 1B. I have played every position except shortstop and catcher. Through baseball I have learned that hard work makes the end result more satisfying. I have learned that just like life, the game doesn't always go your way. Sometimes you have to fight through the slumps.
I have played for several clubs through the years, making lasting friendships. I have learned how to be an asset to a team and how to be a team player. I would be a great addition to a college roster.
I have a strong work ethic. When I am not playing or practicing for one of my teams. I go to a personal trainer for speed and agility. I work out with my pitching and hitting coaches once every two weeks to keep improving. When I am not working on my game, I am working on classwork.
I plan to graduate from Noble High School with all honors core classes. I am currently undecided on which major I want to pursue, but I am interested in aviation. I have participated in the Sooner Flight Academy for the previous eleven years. I would love to have the opportunity to pursue my education while playing the game I love.
