Carl Turner III '16 Recruiting Profile

I have played baseball since I was 5 years old. Baseball has taught me life lessons as well as how to be a better person.  This sport also gives me the opportunity to be a better student and athlete.  It is a sport that combines skill, athleticism and thinking.  I understand many hours of hard work, discipline and dedication are required to improve my skills so I can continue to play at a high level.  Each game and practice I leave it all on the field for my team. Baseball is my passion and I will do what is required to allow this dream to continue.

I am a very coachable student/player and  would be an asset to a competitive college program. Combining my learning mindset with  talent helps make me a viable recruit for a college program.   There are always opportunities to learn and improve, I welcome all feedback as it gives me the chance to improve my skills. I give my all and will continue to give my all to my college level coach.  I am passionate about baseball and will work endlessly to get to the next level.

What sets me aside from most recruits is I will not do a lot of talking about my skill and talent.  However, I will show you on the field every single time I practice and play, I am worth your time and investment.  I know nothing will be handed to me, but I am willing to work endlessly to earn it.
