My name is Eric Scavnicky and I am a sophomore at Lakeland Community College. I plan on transferring to a 4-year university after this year. When I am ready to transfer, I will still have 3 full years of eligibility left and I hope to be an immediate contributor. I also hope to be a leader on and off the field and portray a good image for the university I am attending.
I am primarily 3rd baseman but can also play 2nd and 1st base. I underwent Tommy John surgery in my junior year of high school and it was learning experience for me. The rehab process has taught me how to overcome adversity and I believe it made me both a very hardworking person and a mentally strong athlete. I still look forward to getting faster, stronger and improving all aspects of my game. It is important for me to get a good education while playing at the highest level of college baseball I can. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile and I look forward to any further communication.
