In 2015 I was involved in a go cart accident that caused the amputation of my left ring finger. Overcoming this scenario taught me perseverance during difficult times. During the therapy process I really learned to keep my head up no matter what.
Until returning from my injury I didn’t realize how much I loved the game. A new drive to compete developed in me during that baseball season that still exists in me today. Only a year after the accident I returned with a high batting average, despite the bump in the road.
