I am beginning to explore my college options and I am looking for a college experience with a strong business program and a competitive baseball program with a winning tradition. Growing up in Western North Carolina I enjoy participating in baseball year-round. Last year, as a freshman, at South Caldwell High School I was fortunate to start as the “first string” catcher on the Junior Varsity baseball team. I was also asked by the head coach and pitching coach to help the varsity team in the bullpen, during practice and on game days. As a freshman and my first year of baseball at SCHS, I quickly learned hard work and discipline gained respect of my coaches. They instilled confidence and a great work ethic that I will carry, with me, through my college years and beyond.
My focus is to explore a business major that will grow both mentally and physically throughout my college baseball career. I will strive to be an asset but most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field. I understand the commitment and challenges college academics and athletics demand and I’m up for the challenge. My goal is to play division baseball and continue to grow, be competitive, but humble. I’m a team player and a leader by example I’m very athletic and coach-able.
